Description:
This position works under our One Health organization.
The M&A Analyst will support the company’s mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investment activities. This role is designed for a high-performing recent college graduate seeking hands-on exposure to corporate development and strategic finance. The Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and external advisors throughout the full deal lifecycle, from initial evaluation through execution and operational integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Support
• Assist in evaluating potential merger, acquisition, divestiture, and investment opportunities
• Build and maintain financial models including valuation and sensitivity analyses
• Conduct financial and operational due diligence, including data analysis and management of diligence materials
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting materials for internal decision-making
Market & Company Analysis
• Perform industry, market, and competitive research to support strategic assessments
• Analyze target company financial statements, business models, and growth drivers
• Track M&A market trends, comparables, and precedent transactions
Execution & Coordination
• Support deal execution activities including CIM review, data room management, and Q&A tracking
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations) and external advisors (investment banks, consultants, legal counsel)
• Assist with post-transaction integration planning and performance tracking
Ongoing Strategic Projects
• Support broader corporate development and strategic initiatives as needed
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for senior management and leadership team
Requirements:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
Experience
• Internship experience in investment banking, corporate development, consulting, private equity, or related fields preferred
• This role is suitable for a recent college graduate (0–2 years of professional experience)
Skills & Competencies
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial statements required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and strong work ethic
• Professional maturity and ability to interact with senior leadership
