About the Job
We're seeking a highly skilled Lead Cybersecurity expert to join our team, focusing on Encryption at Rest and Secrets Management. As a Lead Cybersecurity expert, you'll play a critical role in designing, engineering, and maintaining our encryption at rest environment, working closely with various AT&T application teams to onboard and utilize existing infrastructure. You'll also contribute to efforts to migrate applications from premise-based encryption at rest usage to Cloud-Based encryption at rest, using our existing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and maintain the critical encryption at rest environment, ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive data.
- Collaborate with AT&T application teams to onboard and utilize existing encryption infrastructure, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of next-generation data at rest encryption solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events, and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.
- Apply measures to block malicious code and applications, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
- Conduct forward-looking research, planning, and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.
- Analyze complex security issues and develop engineering activities to help mitigate risk, providing clear communication and documentation for identified system issues.
- Recommend purchases and modifications to hardware and software solutions to fit AT&T's cyber security needs and those of our managed services teams.
Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of strong security background in CyberSecurity with an emphasis on Encryption and CyberSecurity fundamentals.
- Experience with Linux/Unix/Windows System Admin functions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, and shell scripting.
- Ability to clearly communicate and provide documentation for identified system issues to both vendor and internal teams.
- Experience with Public Cloud environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Achievement of certifications such as CISSP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or AWS Certified Security Specialist.
- Experience with data at rest encryption products, such as Thales.
- Knowledge of KeyFactor EJBCA, KeyFactor CMD, Voltage SecureData, Thales data at rest encryption products (DSM's, CipherTrust Manager), HashiCorp Vault Secrets Management, HSM's, and Microsoft Purview.
