Key Responsibilities
As a PreK-8 Tlingit Language Teacher, you will be responsible for carrying out the duties of a language teacher within our department of instruction. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Tlingit language and cultural activities to students in grades PreK-8

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A high school diploma, with a preference for a valid Alaska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement or a valid Alaska Type M limited certificate
- Experience in teaching practices of second language learning, with a focus on the Tlingit language and culture
- Experience speaking and teaching Tlingit language, with a strong understanding of the language and its cultural context
- Ability to supervise students with little guidance, and provide feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential

Preferred Qualifications
