Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that promote student learning and academic achievement
- Manage instructional time effectively, ensuring that students are engaged and on task throughout the lesson
- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment, promoting social responsibility and emotional intelligence
- Develop and implement instructional plans that align with school and system-wide curricular goals, using diagnostic information to inform instruction
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure that all students meet their full potential

Essential Qualifications
- Valid NC Teaching Licensure in Science Education
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a public school setting
- Strong knowledge of scientific principles and concepts, including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents

- Master's degree in Science Education or a related field
