About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As the first line of defense, you will play a critical role in resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, and we offer a competitive hourly rate of $13, plus great monthly and quarterly bonus structures. After 30 days, we will conduct a performance review to evaluate and potentially increase your rate based on your skill levels and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer emails and resolve issues or answer questions related to their orders in a professional and efficient manner
- Handle approximately 30-45 phone calls per day, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to their orders, including tracking and package errors
- Utilize instant messaging with Live Chat to resolve customer issues and provide timely support
- Escalate complex issues to the Supervisor when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and minimal disruption to the customer experience
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all interactions are handled efficiently and professionally, as you will be the first level of response for the company
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Strong customer service skills, both over the phone and in writing, with a focus on providing timely and effective solutions
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and MS Office Suite (or Google Docs/Sheets)
- Strong problem-solving ability, with the capacity to think critically and outside the box
- Able to maintain a polite and professional demeanor, even in challenging situations, and address customer issues in a time-sensitive manner
- A strong desire to grow with our company and commit to long-term success
- Past phone or call center experience is highly desirable, but not essential
