Senior SAP Training & Process Consultant Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 6 Months (Contract; potential extension) Location: Remote (Preference for EST/EDT alignment) Type: Contract / Consulting Industry: Utilities / Energy (Preferred) Overview Our client is seeking a Senior SAP Training & Process Consultant to support the enablement of their newly implemented SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment. This role is focused on hands-on training, process guidance, and upskilling internal technical resources to confidently manage, support, and extend the SAP landscape. This is not a traditional training role-this consultant will work closely with internal teams to provide practical, real-time guidance across system configuration, process execution, and new functionality adoption. The ideal candidate will bring both deep SAP expertise and the ability to mentor teams through live scenarios, helping bridge the gap between implementation and long-term ownership. Key Responsibilities • Provide hands-on SAP training and real-time support, guiding internal teams through system configuration and process execution • Upskill resources on SAP S/4HANA Cloud functionality, including system navigation, configuration, and ongoing support • Support the rollout and adoption of SAP Fiori, including roles, access, and user experience optimization • Guide setup and configuration of SAP Mobile Start, ensuring alignment with Fiori and authentication requirements (e.g., SSO) • Provide advisory and support around ABAP development and best practices within the S/4HANA environment • Educate teams on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including architecture, use cases, and implementation approaches • Support data integration and reporting efforts using SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) • Assist in translating business requirements into system processes using modern SAP tools and capabilities • Provide guidance on QA and Development landscape alignment, including refresh strategies and environment consistency • Contribute to internal documentation and establish best practices for system support, governance, and process execution Requirements • Senior-level experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including configuration, implementation, and post-go-live support • Strong hands-on expertise across multiple SAP areas, including: • ABAP • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) • SAP Fiori • SAP Mobile Start • SAP Datasphere • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) • Proven ability to train, mentor, and guide technical teams in a hands-on, process-driven environment • Experience supporting organizations through SAP adoption, enablement, or post-implementation stabilization • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to guide teams through complex system and process challenges • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to varying experience levels • Process-oriented mindset, with a focus on execution and real-world application Preferred Experience • Experience working within the utilities or regulated industry environments • Background in SAP consulting, advisory, or training-focused roles • Experience supporting cloud-based SAP transformations and user adoption initiatives
