Job Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Lawyer (Sub-Consultant), you will:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes amicably
- Advise clients on their legal rights and options throughout the litigation process
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact cases
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A qualification as a solicitor or barrister with relevant experience in litigation
- A proven track record of successfully managing litigation cases from inception to resolution
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and presenting cases effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
