Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert online tutoring services to students preparing for the SAT and other standardized tests
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each student
- Conduct online tutoring sessions using a computer, stylus pen, and headphones, ensuring a professional and quiet environment
- Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and Academic Counselors to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session details
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in SAT and test prep curriculum
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a prestigious university
- 3+ years of professional tutoring or teaching experience, with at least 1 year of online experience
- Proven ability to tutor all sections of the SAT, with a strong subject matter expertise in test prep
- Test prep related references on resume
- Fast, reliable internet connection and necessary equipment (computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones)
- Professional, quiet environment conducive to conducting online tutoring sessions
- U.S.-based bank account and SSN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 10 hours of weekly availability, primarily M-Th in the afternoons and evenings
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., education, test prep)
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning needs
- Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools
