About the Role: Senior Developer in OnBrand Production
The Senior Developer will be part of OnBrand, American Express' In-House Creative agency, and will report to the OnBrand Production Director. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating seamless customer experiences for our Business Units, driving results, and unlocking value through industry-defining creative excellence. Your expertise in digital development will help us build innovative and engaging digital experiences that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute development for multiple parallel project engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and Javascript, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Partner with UX/UI, copy, and design teams to develop the overall look and design of digital experiences, ensuring consistency and coherence across all touchpoints.
- Ensure that best practices regarding accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use are included early on in project ideation, guaranteeing an exceptional user experience.
- Develop an overall development approach and guide other developers through execution to delivery, providing proactive coaching, feedback, and oversight.
- Collaborate with the QA team to troubleshoot and resolve defects, identify patterns, and use learnings to optimize overall development processes.
