About the Role: Customer Care Professional
As a Customer Care Professional, you'll be the face of our organization, making positive interactions with our customers every day. From organizing a unique travel experience to assisting with their everyday needs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Service inbound calls while engaging and conversing with entrepreneurs and managers, learning about their needs, and suggesting the right American Express SBS products
- Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate relevant product features, benefits, and other aspects of American Express Small Business Services
- Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing deals
- Provide exceptional customer care by responding to questions about accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment
- Record important account data according to established policies and procedures
- Integrity: Comply with all Administrative and Compliance rules related to servicing and sales practices
Essential Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Customer support experience (2 years+) with a focus on building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, intelligence, and strong written and verbal communication
- Proven success in a customer support and sales environment (2 years+)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the capability to multitask and navigate in an electronic setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available
