We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Licensed Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our underwriting department at arenaflex. As a Licensed CSR, you will be the first point of contact for all existing customers utilizing our call center for support or service issues, as well as routine service updates. We expect you to provide the best possible customer service while maintaining our underwriting integrity.
This role requires an active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license, prior experience in an insurance service role, a passion for client interaction, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Licensed CSR at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
* Addressing client needs and concerns via phone and email
* Maintaining and utilizing a working understanding of underwriting compliance guidelines
* Answering back-to-back inbound calls
* Making outbound calls as needed
* Establishing customer relationships and following up with customers
* Providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
* Servicing existing customers with endorsements, payments, policy changes, etc., including those that require underwriting authority
* Canceling and Non-renewing policies according to procedures
* Completing necessary documentation quickly and efficiently
* Following and adhering to underwriting compliance and service standards while performing changes to in-force policies
* Conducting risk analysis and evaluating underwriting quality of applicants
* Evaluating application factors/details to appropriately match premium to underwriting risk
* Meeting all production goals
* Completing new business applications for existing customers as needed
* Performing other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Active P&C or Personal Lines insurance license in your state of residence
* Prior experience working in a customer-facing insurance service role
* Demonstrated success in a team environment
* Proficiency to multi-task, follow-through, and follow-up
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
* Positive customer and quality focus
* Possess an upbeat and positive attitude
* Organized and detail-oriented
* Proactive in problem-solving
* Ability to perform critical thinking and reasoning
* Advanced computer skills
* Reliable high-speed internet
**Desired Qualifications**
While not required, we are looking for candidates with:
* Associate or bachelor's degree
* Prior underwriting experience
* Prior experience working on a hybrid/remote team
* Prior insurance sales experience

**Compensation**
We offer a competitive salary range of $43-46k ($21-23/hr) depending on experience level, with overtime eligibility (not required).
**Weekly Schedule**
Our standard workweek is 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays (about 1 every 4 weeks).
