Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Disney Customer Support Representative to join our team. As a key member of the Terminal Activities team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of an exceptional guest experience, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring seamless operations across multiple ports and terminals. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of embarkation systems, address issues, and implement upgrades to ensure smooth operations and effective communication with terminal activities and center partners.
- Continuously improve working cycles to enhance Disney Cruise Line services, both internally and externally.
- Drive new processes and projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain and update databases, such as Port Appearance Times, Daily Activity Reports, and Quality Assurance Reviews, as well as report data for monthly summaries and on-demand requests.
- Support the Terminal Help Manager with moderate process and citizenship questions, Cast Member development, and agenda planning documentation for citizenship requirements.
- Develop content and educate audiences regarding business integration program development and execution plans for the overall Disney Cruise Line operation.
- Identify issues and resolve problems connected with projects, content, and measurement to improve project success.
- Maintain Terminal Activities documentation, including working guides, forms, and guest embarkation insurance, for accuracy and consistency.
- Schedule, coordinate, and record office meetings.
- Lead communication with partner areas, both internal and external, regarding feedback, functional updates, or changes.
- Attend and support Terminal Activities in Port Canaveral, South Florida, and Outports.
- Occasionally, support the Outport team by assisting with terminal/area launch tasks.
- Lead Quality Assurance Reviews and schedule Reviews for terminal activities.
- Collaborate with other departments within Disney Cruise Line to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Act as a contact between Disney Cruise Line and all third-party vendor operations.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with third-party vendors participating in daily port operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of cruise products, the cruise industry, and terminal operations.
- Understanding of internal and external relationships and responsibilities as they relate to a cruise terminal wharf operation, including dock registration procedures, embarkation techniques, and guest transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Ability to handle multiple needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Travel industry experience.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid passport, as this position may require international travel.
- Ability to travel frequently to support terminal activity areas.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, push street cases that may weigh over 500 pounds, and use equipment in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Over three years of cruise line dock operations or similar experience.
- Knowledge of Disney Cruise Line Manager and Base systems, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate.
- Knowledge of Disney Cruise Line systems, including DXP, Seaware, and Fidelio.
- Understanding of immigration policies regarding areas Disney Cruise Line sails from, including the US, Schengen area, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
