Position Summary

The Director of E-commerce and Amazon Operations will play a critical role in leading our team of brand managers and specialists to drive business growth and success on Amazon. This position focuses on high-level strategy, people management, and client relationship management. As a Director, you will oversee the management and growth of 10-15 brands on Amazon, developing and implementing high-level strategies to drive brand success and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 8-12 brand managers and specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success and growth.
Brand Management: Oversee the management and growth of 10-15 brands on Amazon, developing and implementing high-level strategies to drive brand success and market expansion.
Strategy Development: Develop and execute high-level strategies to drive business growth, improve brand visibility, and increase sales on Amazon.
Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships at an executive level, including contract maintenance and renewal, to ensure long-term partnerships and business growth.
Performance Management: Ensure the team meets and exceeds performance goals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture that encourages innovation and success.
Amazon Operations: Utilize Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central to drive brand success, manage large advertising budgets (brand, product, display, DSP) up to $1M, and promote a data-driven approach to account management and strategic decision-making.
Coaching and Development: Teach and coach team members to enhance their skills and promote career growth, ensuring the team has the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

Proven Experience: Proven experience as a brand manager with a strong track record of success in e-commerce, preferably in CPG.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth technical knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central, including advertising and reporting tools.
Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute high-level strategies that drive business growth and improve brand visibility.
People Management: Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Client Relationship Management: Excellent client relationship management skills with the ability to maintain executive-level engagements.

CPG Experience: Experience working in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
