About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service and Quote Representative to join our dynamic team in The Woodlands, Texas. As a key member of our customer service team, you will report to our Customer Service Manager and be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, learn about our products and vendors, and develop your skills in customer service, quote management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into our Global Shop ERP system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Update and allocate inventory, managing stock levels to meet customer demands.
• Follow up with customers on orders and quotes, providing timely updates on lead times, prices, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the production of quotes, including outlining content, required forms, deadlines, and coordinating with internal personnel to drive completion.
• Track performance of quotes, identifying potential problems and coordinating with customers and the shipping department to ensure timely and accurate receipt of products.
• Interface with salesmen and international staff to ensure inventory levels are kept at optimum levels, anticipating customers' future needs.
• Review RFQs to understand intent, requirements, details, timing, and scope, establishing timing plans to accomplish SOW.
• Perform risk analysis of projects as required, managing and coordinating incoming requests for proposals, prioritizing and scheduling team members to meet customer requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or GED, with excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, paying close attention to details and maintaining a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to function in a team-oriented environment and interact with all levels of management.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills, with experience in ERP systems and project management a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and deadline-oriented environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and delivery.
