Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis for the summer. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a critical role in supporting students and families navigating the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in a related field (e.g., customer service, communications) preferred.
- Four to six months of customer service experience in a call center environment required; experience working in a college financial aid office or administrative office preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone voice and etiquette.
- Ability to follow instructions and scripts, with strong active listening and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with computers, software, and technology, with good typing skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the FAFSA and college financial aid and admissions processes preferred.
