Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for developing client relationships, providing product solutions that meet our customers' needs, and driving sales growth. Responsibilities
As an Automotive Sales Associate, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers, from first-time buyers to seasoned car enthusiasts. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships and creating customers for life by asking questions, listening carefully to their responses, and providing personalized solutions that meet their needs.
- Developing buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers, suggesting trade-ins, meeting prospects at community activities, greeting drop-ins, responding to inquiries, and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
- Demonstrating automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features, taking drives, and explaining warranties and services.
- Closing sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, and completing sales or purchase contracts.
- Meeting sales goals and consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Staying up-to-date on product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technology to become the go-to vehicle expert.
- Performing high-quality and professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
- Following up with buyers to ensure referral business and building a loyal customer base.
- Learning to overcome objections and thriving in sales situations.
- Directly reporting to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
- Investigating and resolving customer issues and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.
- Ability to hit the ground running and quickly learn new product offerings, features, and technology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance, with a strong emphasis on customer service and presentation.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen (THC is not tested for pre-employment).
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
