Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer experiences through timely and accurate order processing, issue resolution, and proactive communication. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders with precision, ensuring accurate and timely order entry, assigning appropriate ship dates, and selecting the optimal shipping locations.
- Collaborating with customers, the accounting department, and sales teams to resolve credit hold issues and scanning order documents into our optical storage system.
- Applying barcodes to documents and scanning order documents into the optical storage system to maintain organized and easily accessible records.
- Coordinating with customers and the shipping department to optimize freight costs and resolve delivery issues, ensuring that our customers receive their orders efficiently.
- Reviewing shipping reports, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and customer requirements to determine priorities and shipping methods that meet customer receiving schedules.
- Utilizing our CRM application to verify special pricing, resolve price discrepancies in collaboration with Sales, Accounting, and Customers, and ensuring that our customers receive the correct pricing and discounts.
- Processing Service-Related Complaints (SRC) and ensuring complete resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Managing customer returns in accordance with standard procedures, scheduling, and initiating customer returns as needed.
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, including shipping information, inventory availability, freight costs, and pricing, providing timely and accurate information.
- Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, combined with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training in customer service or a similar field.
- The ability to work effectively with a personal computer in a Windows environment, demonstrating basic computer skills and adaptability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and utilize other software tools as needed.
