Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing orders, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders in an accurate and efficient manner, ensuring a smooth production process
- Facilitate purchase orders, verify quotations, and manage internal forms and records
- Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction
- Check orders for accuracy, document releases from inventory, and file tickets for completed jobs
- Develop a thorough understanding of production capabilities and product offerings to provide expert support to customers
- Evaluate and verify purchase order correspondence with quotations, and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare materials for return to customers, document Haz-Mat orders, and manage marketing materials
- Assist the estimating department as needed, and fill in for Account Managers during their absence
- Perform additional tasks and duties as required and delegated by the Director of Sales
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required, with an Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, or a related field
- Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with experience in The Flesh Operating System (or similar software) an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work accurately and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Bronze designation on ACT, or equivalent certification
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of production capabilities, product offerings, and industry-specific software
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
