Cost/Pricing Analyst

Summary: • Will participate in strategy sessions with account managers and company leadership to establish competitive pricing strategies aimed at securing new contracts. • Will utilize online resources such as GovWin and salary surveys to identify potential opportunities in the federal market. • Will research current contracts and incumbent vendors to support in the qualification of bid opportunities. • Will compile cost, schedule, and technical elements for the creation of comprehensive cost proposals, adhering strictly to solicitation requirements. • Will develop detailed pricing and financial models or templates using Excel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with solicitation requirements. • Will present, review, and obtain approval for proposed rates from company leadership. • Will work collaboratively with partner companies and stakeholders, including managing and distributing rate sheets. Requirements: • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business-related area of study. • Must have 5+ years of experience in Federal Government Contracting Pricing. • Must have prior experience utilizing MS Office Suites products, must be highly proficient in Excel. • Must have the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Must have the ability to organize, prioritize, and research multiple projects under tight deadlines. • Must be familiar with reading and interpreting Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quote (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI). • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferences: • Located within the Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland area. • An Active secret clearance. • Deep understanding of common evaluation criteria such as Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA), Best Value, and Best Value Trade-Off. • Knowledge of various contract types, including Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Labor Hour (LH), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), along with Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).
