Synensys is seeking a Project Manager for the VA Biomedical Engineering Technical Professional Support Services (BETPSS) program. The Project Manager provides leadership and coordination for projects related to medical equipment management, clinical systems implementation, and healthcare technology modernization across VA medical centers and associated facilities. The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects supporting VA Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) initiatives, including medical equipment implementation, system integration, technology assessments, and operational improvement efforts. The role requires close coordination with biomedical engineering teams, clinicians, information technology staff, facility leadership, and equipment vendors to ensure successful deployment and sustainment of medical technologies that support patient care. The Project Manager ensures projects are executed in accordance with established project management practices and VA requirements while maintaining alignment with schedule, cost, quality, and risk management objectives. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, facilitating meetings and communications, monitoring performance metrics, and supporting coordination of project stakeholders across multiple healthcare environments.   Location: Nationwide (remote with travel as required) Employment Type: Full Time / Contract Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead nationwide biomedical service operations for VA facilities, ensuring timely, compliant, and quality delivery of maintenance and engineering support. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare, Management, or a closely related field - At least 5 years of experience managing biomedical engineering, healthcare maintenance, or federal health contracts - Demonstrated success in multi-site or nationwide contract/service program management Specialized Skills: - Strong organizational and leadership abilities - Experience with staff management, scheduling, reporting, and financial tracking - Familiarity with VA/DoD contract requirements, onboarding, and credentialing is strongly preferred - Excellent communication, customer support, and document management skills - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and enterprise reporting systems Additional Requirements: - Familiarity with test equipment setup and use - Understanding of regulatory agencies, industry standards, and ISO requirements - Ability to read and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings - Basic networking principles (ACL, TCP/IP, VLAN) - Physical ability to frequently lift objects up to 40 lbs and occasionally more, bend, climb, and work in tight spaces - Strong analytical and communication skills - Must pass VA credentialing and background check, and comply with all safety, infection control, security, and facility policies - Must be able to travel as needed to assigned VA facilities - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times - U.S. citizenship or legal work status required - Must be available for rapid onboarding and nationwide mobilization as required How to Apply: Please submit a comprehensive resume that includes details of large-scale contract management, relevant staff/team experience, and examples of delivery in regulated healthcare environments.   Important for All Positions - All resumes will undergo credentialing and must include evidence of all required training, certifications, and relevant experience. - Final selection and job site assignment is contingent upon VA/L-COR approval, background check, and confirmation of compliance with all requirements. - Roles require U.S. citizenship or legal ability to work nationwide and may require travel to multiple VA facilities.
