We are looking for an experienced and talented part-time UI/UX Designer to help design and shape unique, user-centric digital products and experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, remote-first environment and can contribute effectively on a part-time basis while working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, copywriters, and product managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand end-user requirements and create intuitive, user-centered designs.
- Translate product requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for various devices and platforms.
- Use user-centered design (UCD) methods to drive decisions from concept to implementation.
- Independently manage small design projects and support larger initiatives in a team-based agile setting.
- Conduct or assist in basic UX research and user testing as needed.
- Present and articulate your design ideas and decisions effectively to stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with current design trends and best practices in the industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, ideally in SaaS or product development settings
- Proficient in tools like Figma (preferred), Sketch, Balsamiq, InVision, or similar
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking and execution
- Exposure to basic front-end languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and Material Design is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and capable of managing time effectively in a part-time setup
