The Manager of Strategic Analytics will be a key member of the PrecisionQ Advanced Analytics organization. The individual will serve as an analytics and data subject matter expert supporting strategic engagements. This individual will partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, Clinical and Analytics teams to support feasibility assessments, preliminary analytics, and data-driven storytelling across Quality Initiatives (QI), Commercial Analytics, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) use cases.
The role has a dual function focused on pre-sales/early engagement analytics and the creation of novel HEOR analytical output for Pharma, Biotech and the Healthcare sector in the Precision Medicine space. The Manager will act as a bridge between data, analytics, and commercial strategy, helping PrecisionQ deliver credible, high-impact solutions in QI, Commercial, and HEOR analytics.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Engagement
- Serve as a primary analytics and data subject matter expert supporting Sales and Account teams during engagements.
- Partner with Sales to translate client questions into feasibility criteria and analytic approaches across QI, Commercial, and HEOR use cases.
- Design and execute feasibility counts, cohort identification, and high-level population estimates using EHR, claims, pharmacy, and genomics data.
- Produce preliminary analyses, tables, figures, and summary reports to support proposals, RFPs, and client discussions.
- Support development of data-driven narratives that clearly articulate the strengths, limitations, and appropriate applications of PrecisionQ data assets.
Data & Analytics Expertise
- Apply deep knowledge of real-world healthcare data (EHR, medical and pharmacy claims, payer data, genomics) to assess feasibility and analytic fit for client use cases.
- Represents the Advanced Analytics Team – attention to detail and accuracy.
- Typical engagements involve describing patient treatment landscape by line of therapy and variability in practice patterns and developing statistical models to describe healthcare resource utilization and cost of care.
- Interpret and apply business rules related to oncology treatment patterns, lines of therapy, testing, outcomes, and utilization.
- Provide guidance on appropriate analytic endpoints and methodologies (e.g., treatment patterns, survival proxies, utilization, testing rates) for early-stage client questions.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales and core Analytics teams to ensure accurate scoping and handoff of projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with HEOR, Commercial Analytics, QI, Clinical, Data Engineering, and Product teams to stay aligned on evolving data assets, methodologies, and capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of standard feasibility approaches, reusable templates, and best practices.
- Educate internal stakeholders on the appropriate interpretation and limitations of real-world data.
Thought Leadership & Scientific Support
- Stay current on oncology and urology treatment landscapes, emerging data needs, and client priorities.
- Support scientific communications by contributing to methodological framing, analytic summaries, or exploratory analyses as needed.
- Represent the analytics function in internal strategy discussions related to sales enablement and market positioning.
- Conduct and oversee scientific projects culminating in scientific abstracts and peer reviewed papers.
