We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team in Plainfield, NJ. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic achievement
- Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
- NJ Substitute Credential and background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost)
- Full COVID-19 vaccination
- A passion for education, empathy, and a growth mindset
