About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Tax Professional to join our team at either the Senior, Supervisor, or Manager level. This is a full-time position offering unparalleled flexibility, including remote or hybrid work options, and a unique 36-hour work week during non-busy seasons, allowing for all Fridays off. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax services to individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work independently on projects when necessary, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines consistently while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Engage effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve client services and firm operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve firm goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Full-Service Accounting, Business Services, and Tax for both individuals and businesses.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting or Finance.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
- For the Manager position, a CPA license is required; however, for Supervisor or Senior level candidates, a CPA in progress is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- A CPA license (or working towards obtaining one).
- Additional certifications, such as an Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Experience with tax preparation software and other relevant technology.
- A proven track record of career progression and professional development.
