About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Stocker - Part-Time, also known as a Sales Merchandiser, to join our Sales Team. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising products on designated routes, maintaining strong customer relationships, and providing superior customer service. This is a part-time role with a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits and perks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport products between the backroom and display floor.
- Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves according to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards.
- Ensure on-time arrival at all customer locations to perform merchandising duties.
- Operate manual and powered handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand-trucks.
- Maintain and organize Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country stock as needed.
- Ensure a neat appearance of all equipment and products in assigned accounts.
- Maintain clean and organized back-rooms and manage trade breakage.
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
- Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for accounts.
- Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced.
- Perform required vehicle checks according to Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-3 years of general work experience preferred.
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck.
- Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.
- Valid driver's license and a motor vehicle driving history that meets Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Adaptability and ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
- Business Acumen and ability to grasp and understand business concepts and issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Decision-making skills and willingness to make critical decisions while following company practices.

- Must be able to repetitively lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach.

Work Environment
- The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation.
- Must be willing to travel to other company locations approximately 10% and attend out-of-town training and/or seminars.
- Must be available to work some weekends and some holidays.
