Optomi, in partnership with a healthcare leader, is looking for an architecture-minded IT Documentation & Architecture Analyst to operate at the intersection of enterprise architecture, security architecture, and high-level technical documentation. This role involves analyzing, documenting, and rationalizing complex IT systems and architecture landscapes to produce executive-ready architecture documentation that supports enterprise strategy and governance.
Responsibilities
• Operate at an enterprise level to analyze, document, and rationalize complex IT systems and architecture landscapes
• Develop high-level systems documentation that clearly represents application, infrastructure, integration, and security components
• Create and maintain reference architecture documentation for core platforms, services, and ecosystem offerings
• Author and maintain architecture standards, policies, SOPs, and documentation governance frameworks
• Produce architecture diagrams and supporting documentation using tools such as Visio, Lucid, or similar platforms
• Translate complex technical architectures into clear documentation tailored for architects, technical leads, and senior leadership
Skills
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and/or security architecture principles
• Ability to think strategically and document high-level IT systems end-to-end
• Solid foundational IT knowledge (e.g., networking, load balancing, application architecture, cloud infrastructure, security models)
• Experience creating documentation for both technical and leadership audiences
• Experience with architecture diagram tools (Archmate, Visio, Lucid)
