About the Role: Patient Care Advocate
As a Patient Care Advocate at blithequark, your primary responsibility will be to handle customer service inquiries related to pharmacy benefits. You'll work closely with members, providers, and physicians to research and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner. Your expertise will help members understand and maximize the use of their pharmacy distribution program, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, and physicians, responding to their queries and concerns related to pharmacy benefits.
- Utilize our computerized system to gather information and respond to questions, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries.
- Collaborate with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns.
- Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring corrective action is pursued and expedited to meet their needs.
- Adhere to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
To excel as a Patient Care Advocate at blithequark, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment (Preferred).
- 1 year of experience in customer service (Preferred).
