This is a remote position. Our client is a leading provider of payment solutions, enabling businesses to streamline collections, disbursements, and financial operations through a robust, integrated platform. With a strong footprint in the South African market, they deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions that drive operational efficiency and improve client outcomes. They are looking for a commercially driven Payments Advisor to join their sales team, focused on driving revenue growth through new client acquisition, account activation, and cross-selling of payment solutions. Job Description: The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients, activating accounts, and expanding existing relationships through cross-selling initiatives. The role requires a strong sales mindset, relationship-building capability, and the ability to manage a full sales cycle. Your daily adventures include: - Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and account expansion - Activate new client accounts and onboard them onto payment solutions - Identify cross-selling opportunities across the product suite - Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing engagement - Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline - Conduct outreach, follow-ups, and lead conversion activities consistently - Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients - Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention - Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records - Manage leads, service cases, and follow-ups in line with internal processes - Guide clients effectively through the sales funnel - ​Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with product and market knowledge Requirements What it takes to succeed:  - 2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales - Experience within payments, fintech, SaaS, or transactional environments preferred - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Matric (essential) - Tertiary qualification (advantageous) - Strong sales and relationship-building capability - Excellent communication (written and verbal) - Commercial awareness and business acumen - Confident, client-centric approach - Strong negotiation and networking skills - Ability to engage with senior stakeholders - High level of organisation and time management - Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales tools - Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented
