About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Online Early Childhood Educator with a focus on English Language Arts (ELA) and foundational Math skills. This role is ideal for retired teachers, candidates with 1–3 years of experience, or current early childhood education students who are enthusiastic about helping young learners build strong literacy and numeracy skills in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and interactive online lessons in ELA (Grade1-5) and early Math (Grade1-5)
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
• Use creative teaching strategies, games, and activities to support literacy and numeracy development
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs and skill levels
• Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, parents
• Maintain a consistent weekly teaching schedule (4–5 hours total)
Qualifications:
• Background in Early Childhood Education (degree in progress, completed, or relevant experience)
• Familiarity with early literacy instruction (phonics, sight words, reading readiness) and foundational math concepts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using online teaching platforms and basic technology
• Patient, creative, and enthusiastic about teaching young children
• Reliable and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedulePreferred Candidates:*
