Joining our team requires skill, leadership, teaming, humor and a love of retail. We are presently searching for a Junior Designer for the Retail Studio. The Junior Designer, while working under the direct supervision of a Project Manager, performs a broad variety of drafting and/or design tasks related to Exterior Retail Project Work. Must have strong Adobe Creative Suite and Revit Experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and Technical Drawing – Under supervision, may make updates and changes to existing drawings or designs. Work with design team to develop design ideas
- Photoshop Renderings- Create renders to reflect new design based on client brand standards.
- Site Verifications and Field Surveys - perform verification of site details to support design. Assists in field surveying of client spaces. Corrects drawings red lined by others
- Client Service – Supports the team in collecting information for client assessment; may attend interviews, provide documentation support; developing skills working with Affinity program tool
Education
- Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted
Work Experience
- 1+ years’ experience or equivalent educational experience: strongly prefer experience working in Retail Rollout design projects
- Works under the leadership of a more senior team member.
