Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Job Coach and Driver to work with individuals with disabilities, providing one-on-one mentorship, guidance, and support. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting mentees in setting achievable goals, developing actionable plans, and sharing knowledge and best practices related to the industry. The Job Coach and Driver will also be required to drive a 15-seater van and engage in various activities with the mentees, such as arts and crafts, job duties, and recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one mentorship to individuals with disabilities, offering guidance on career development and personal growth.
- Assist mentees in setting achievable goals and developing actionable plans to reach them.
- Share knowledge and best practices related to the industry, and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Engage in activities with mentees, such as arts and crafts, job duties, and recreational activities, to promote socialization and skill-building.
- Drive a 15-seater van to transport mentees to various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of mentee progress and activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive support and services for mentees.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a 15-seater van.
- Ability to read and write English, with excellent communication skills.
- Pass a background check, E-Verify, and Live Fingerprint scan.
- Strong background in relationship management, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a mentoring or coaching role.
- Knowledge of employee relations practices and succession planning processes.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
