About the role

You’ll work closely with marketing, brand, and other cross-functional product leads to help grow the product through a deep understanding of funnels, metrics, and meaningful storytelling.
Our Growth team is on a mission to acquire, convert, and grow millions of retail and institutional investors globally across Thesis’ full suite of financial products, namely Mezo. We are a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, marketers, business developers, and product managers that delivers the insights, strategy, and tools, and user-facing products that fuel Mezo’s growth. In short we make it easy for people to act on their interest in Mezo.
As part of the Growth Design team, you will design products that help bring new users into Mezo and take their first steps with the strongest possible start. This includes working on products that bridge our marketing and product experiences together, as well as key growth-related customer experiences (e.g., onboarding, data visuals, product recommendations, and more).
What You’ll Do
Support the entire Go-to-Market team across customer acquisition, conversion, and retention product journeys.
Design and iterate on key acquisition flows, funnels, and tools that drive growth, balancing business goals and user needs.
Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, content strategists, marketing, and data scientists to design, test, and launch user-facing experiences.
Shape Mezo's product narrative and visual aesthetic by collaborating closely with brand and product designers.
Make informed, data-backed design decisions using research, customer insights, usability principles, and performance metrics.
Contribute to our design system (Mezo Clay) to ensure everything we create is accessible, cohesive, and brand-aligned.
Identify growth opportunities, propose A/B tests, and stay current with design and industry trends.
Master Mezo's product suite and customer needs while exploring AI/ML developments that could enhance our growth strategy.
Champion human-centered design principles across growth-related projects, helping users make progress toward their goals.
Take full ownership of your work from concept to launch.
Grow your skills as part of a talented, supportive design team that values open feedback and unified customer experiences.
Conduct benchmark studies and conversion analysis while partnering with our data insights team on ongoing research projects.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years relevant design experience at a tech, product-driven company. Bonus if you have trade-fi or digital asset experience, but it’s not a stern requirement.
Experience designing onboarding journeys, product demos, or other growth-related domains.
Experience aligning a broad set of stakeholders via strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to thrive with significant autonomy and responsibility.
Experience designing and prototyping product features from zero to one.
Work samples showcasing your problem-solving skills in a collaborative setting, with learnings and outcomes that signal a growth outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
An ability to simplify and explain complex problems and concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Have deep curiosity about how things work, such as front end frameworks and component libraries.
Experience with A/B testing, or designing in analytical/data-driven contexts.
Skilled in explaining your work, process, and decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and seek feedback to help you produce your best work.
Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders regularly.
Desire for working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and grow.
