Fully Remote Corporate Role | Opportunity to Inherit a Book of Business | NYC Location/Schedule: Fully Remote (U.S.) Base Compensation: $250,000 Billable Target: None (results-driven practice with emphasis on sustainability) Practice: Corporate & Securities Law — Private Companies, Startups, Emerging Technology, Blockchain & Digital Assets I’m working with a highly regarded boutique corporate law firm whose practice focuses on advising private companies, founders, and technology-driven startups on sophisticated corporate and securities matters. This is a succession-driven hire, designed to bring in a senior attorney who can gradually assume ownership of an established and thriving practice, with the opportunity to inherit and grow a meaningful book of business. What stands out about this opportunity: Succession & Practice Ownership Opportunity This role is intentionally structured to identify a long-term successor. The incoming attorney will be positioned to take over an existing book of business, lead client relationships, and ultimately run an autonomous, revenue-generating practice. Sophisticated Startup & Emerging Technology Focus The practice advises founders and private companies on corporate structuring, securities compliance, financings, governance, and regulatory strategy, with a strong emphasis on blockchain, digital currency, and technology-driven businesses. No Billable Hour Requirement The firm operates without billable targets, reflecting a healthy, trust-based culture that prioritizes quality of work, client outcomes, and long-term relationships over time tracking. Fully Remote, Senior-Level Autonomy This is a true remote role, designed for an experienced attorney capable of managing clients, driving matters forward independently, and operating with minimal oversight. Direct Client Control & Leadership You’ll work directly with founders, executives, and investors, shaping legal strategy at the business level while positioning yourself as a trusted advisor rather than a service provider. Competitive Senior Compensation Base compensation of $250K, aligned with seniority, responsibility, and the long-term opportunity to control and expand a profitable practice.
