You will be supporting a dynamic regional business operation through BruntWork, a premier global talent outsourcing agency. This role provides specialized financial and administrative support to a client-specific project focused on international business growth.
Role Overview:
As a Finance & Administration Analyst, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations across multi-country entities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, maintaining internal controls, and supporting month-end closures. This is a role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in an independent, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Execute monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms (Wise, Stripe, PayPal).
- General Ledger & Closing: Maintain accuracy in accounting systems and drive the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reporting & Audit: Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and documentation for external audits and tax compliance.
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.
- Vendor & Expense Tracking: Monitor payments and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and data integrity.
- Internal Controls: Identify process gaps and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect financial data.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly regarded.
- Experience: 3–5 years in accounting or finance operations, specifically supporting international companies or multi-country operations.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Data Analysis: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivot Tables, INDEX-MATCH, and complex data modeling).
- Language & Coordination: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for coordinating with global stakeholders.
- Environment: Proven ability to work independently in a remote, task-based environment.
