Job Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be responsible for applying advanced data science, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques to provide insights and actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques to drive business outcomes
- Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines, architectures, and tools to support data analysis and modeling
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems, develop solutions, and implement data-driven recommendations
- Design and implement A/B experiments, analyze results, and provide insights to inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, model documentation, and analytical reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools and methodologies in data science and machine learning
- Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and customers
- Work with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, to develop and deploy scalable data solutions
- Utilize programming languages, including Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, to develop and deploy machine learning models
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and programming. The following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering, and at least 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
- Advanced degree in a STEM field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
- At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to develop and optimize machine learning models
- Advanced experience with programming languages, including Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
- Ph.D. in a STEM field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering
- Experience working with IoT, Edge AI, or Reinforcement Learning
