Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties, including data entry, customer inquiries, and complaint resolution. Key Responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry, order processing, and customer inquiries
- Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and high customer satisfaction
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring efficient processing and minimizing delays
- Clarify orders as needed, utilizing your knowledge of medications and pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, interactions, and potential side effects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Great telephone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Frameworks / ECM knowledge is a plus, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational foundation in pharmacy or a related field
