Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our team at arenaflex. As a Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties, including data entry, customer inquiries, and complaint resolution. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and computer systems to provide exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities - Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry, order processing, and customer inquiries - Answer phones and respond to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution and high customer satisfaction - Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring efficient processing and minimizing delays - Clarify orders as needed, utilizing your knowledge of medications and pharmacy operations to ensure accuracy and completeness Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License - Previous experience in pharmacy, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred - Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including their uses, interactions, and potential side effects - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities - Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications - Great telephone etiquette, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Frameworks / ECM knowledge is a plus, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies - High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong educational foundation in pharmacy or a related field Essential Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications: - A strong commitment to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders - Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: - Previous experience in a remote or virtual work environment, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Knowledge of pharmacy software and systems, including electronic health records (EHRs) and pharmacy management systems - Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
