**The Role**
As a Customer Service Representative-Patient Registration, you'll play a critical role in helping our patients check into the hospital. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, assisting patients complete their registration. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Working on computers and answering phones to intake information in a busy environment
* Helping people who may be very ill or worried, listening carefully to ease their anxiety and building rapport in real-time
* Collecting patient and insurance information, which may seem straightforward but requires knowledge through training and adaptability to varying health plans and coverage
* Working quickly and expecting the unexpected in a dynamic and unpredictable environment
**What You'll Need**
To thrive in this role, you'll need to be a confident multi-tasker who is a quick study with technology and can type and answer phones. You don't need to have any previous experience or knowledge in healthcare, as we'll teach you everything you need to know. However, you'll need to be prepared to see illness and injuries in a hospital/lab environment.
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma or GED
* Excellent customer service experience
