Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to MD Medicaid accounts.
• Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties for customers.
• Assist individuals regarding eligibility and enrollment for Medicaid, and services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, executing multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Develop strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification required; other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Background in healthcare, human services, or customer service.
• Recent call center experience required, preferably in a similar industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Proficient in data entry and call center operations, with experience working with CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations.
• Familiarity with MD Medicaid accounts and eligibility requirements.
• Previous experience in a remote work setting, with self-motivation and discipline.

Technical Requirements
