Job Summary
As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with members, providers, and other stakeholders via phone, web, or written correspondence. You will be responsible for addressing complex customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on our plans, products, and resources. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues via phone, web, or written correspondence, providing clear and concise information about our plans, products, and resources.
- Attract, guide, and educate members about our plans, products, and resources, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and how to access them.
- Answer questions and resolve issues from members, providers, and other departments, escalating complex issues to senior staff as needed.
- Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan supports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Guide members through their plan of benefits, blithequark procedures, and policies, ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Build trusting and caring relationships with members, taking ownership of their needs and providing personalized support.
- Provide members with related information to answer unasked questions, such as plan details, benefit information, and self-service tools.
- Understand member opportunities and specific limitations according to contract, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; four-year certification preferred.
- Previous customer service experience in a call center or retail environment, with a proven track record of providing excellent service and support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members, providers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound judgments.
Preferred Qualifications
