A Day in the Life of a Logistics Analyst at Ocean Spray
In this critical role, you will be an integral part of our Logistics Management team, providing analytical support and recommendations on a wide range of logistics functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the logistics team in warehousing, transportation, finance, and customer operations to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
- Conducting invoice coding and auditing of logistics-related costs to ensure compliance with contracted rates and identifying areas for cost savings.
- Providing project support for initiatives such as Continuous Service Improvements (CSIs) and process improvements to drive operational excellence.
- Offering administrative support for logistics contracts, ensuring all contracts are up-to-date and managing new or renewing agreements in a timely manner.
- Generating ad-hoc reports, such as STO tracking and inventory reconciliations, to inform business decisions.
- Collaborating with suppliers to reduce invoice errors and streamline payment processing.
- Managing Promo Pack planning to ensure effective promotional activities.
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on analytical problem-solving and multitasking.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP software, with SAP experience being highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others both internally and externally.
- A detail-oriented approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
