As a General Cleaner at Kimco Facility Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of assigned areas, including restrooms, breakrooms, and other designated spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of restrooms, breakrooms, and other designated areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and their employees.
- Collect and dispose of trash, replacing trash bags as needed, and ensuring that all waste is handled and disposed of in accordance with Kimco standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform floor cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming, to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our clients' facilities.
- Dust furniture, walls, and other surfaces, and polish windows to create a sparkling and welcoming environment.
- Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies in accordance with Kimco standards, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Securely lock doors to ensure building security and safety, adhering to our clients' security protocols and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience (at least 6 months) in janitorial services or commercial cleaning, although training and development opportunities are available for those new to the industry.
- The ability to bend, stoop, stand, walk, reach, and climb for extended periods, as well as lift up to 30 lbs. consistently and occasionally up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- A positive and can-do attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and supporting your colleagues as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
