Job Summary
As a Hostess and Cashier at Workwarp, you will be responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to our guests, while maintaining a clean and organized reception area and accurately processing guest checks. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our General Manager, Manager on Duty, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of our service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that they feel welcome and valued.
- Reception Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and ensuring that the area is free of clutter.
- Cash Handling: Accurately process guest checks, handle cash and non-cash transactions, and maintain a secure and organized cash register area.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our guests, team members, and management to ensure that our service standards are met.
- Menu Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of our menu and be able to execute suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with our team members to ensure that our service standards are met and that our guests receive exceptional service.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to our health and safety protocols to prevent foodborne illness.
Essential Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a hostess or cashier role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Customer Service Experience: Experience in providing exceptional customer service.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic computer systems and software.
