Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual speech therapy services to students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice issues. As a remote SLP, you will work from the comfort of your home, providing therapy services to students across New York. This is a 1099 contract position that offers the flexibility of working from home while providing high-quality virtual speech therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Virtual Speech Therapy Services: Provide virtual speech therapy services to students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice issues.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and school staff.
- Conduct Regular Assessments: Conduct regular assessments, track student progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Maintain Ongoing Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with parents, school administrators, and other professionals to ensure the success of therapy interventions.
- Create Engaging Therapy Sessions: Create engaging and effective therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs in a virtual environment.
Qualifications
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who meets the following qualifications:
- Valid SLP Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in New York.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience working with children and students with various speech and language disorders.
- Virtual Therapy Experience: Comfort and experience with virtual therapy platforms and online tools.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Treatment Planning: Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans for optimal student progress.
