About the Global Merchant & Network Services (GM&NS) Pricing Group
The GM&NS Pricing Group at blithequark is responsible for revenue from the discount business, one of our largest revenue sources. This team collaborates closely with various business partners to determine the best rates that encourage merchants to accept blithequark while improving service and merchant satisfaction. By driving revenue and profit growth through customer-centric pricing principles, flexible pricing architectures, and innovative pricing solutions, we aim to deliver the world's best customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in planning and analysis, responsible for forecasting and reporting company revenues. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence business decisions and measure the organization's goals for franchise expansion with profit. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change. You will also create a list of discounted business income for the Canadian region.
- Driving the design and development process across multiple regional cost groups for all relevant reporting and forecasting activities.
- Supporting external audits, including investigating issues discovered, communicating with local value teams, and managing vendor relationships to discuss and resolve issues.
- Performing ad hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights that inform business decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- More than two years of experience in financial analysis or business payment and/or other finances.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent skills in Excel and a strong understanding of financial concepts.
