Dotcom-Monitor is a profitable, technical and growth-stage B2B SaaS company helping organizations monitor uptime, performance, and digital experience across web, APIs, and infrastructure. We are hiring a hands-on Director of Marketing to own organic pipeline generation, trial growth, and conversion efficiency for our sales team. This is a player-coach role. You will execute, manage, measure, and optimize - with direct accountability for results.
Mission & Success Metrics
Customer Profile (ICP): Dotcom-Monitor sells to mid-market and enterprise organizations, serving technical buyers (DevOps, SRE, IT, Engineering) and executive stakeholders through a product-led growth motion with a free-trial-to-inside-sales conversion path; the ideal candidate must speak their language as well as sales, pipeline, CAC, and revenue.
Problem This Role Solves: Owns full pipeline generation for the sales team by driving qualified trial signups that convert into sales-ready opportunities and predictable revenue.
What Success Looks Like: Consistently increases qualified trial signups month over month while improving conversion quality and CAC efficiency.
Core Activities: Hands-on execution across SEO, CRO, and high-intent content that attracts qualified buyers and converts them into trial signups.
What You'll Own
• Marketing-driven pipeline and revenue growth
• Free trial acquisition and trial-to-paid conversion
• Customer acquisition cost (CAC) efficiency
• Organic growth for technical B2B buyers
• Attribution, reporting, and experimentation
• People and agency management with accountability
What You'll Actually Do
• Lead SEO strategy for DevOps, IT, and engineering audiences
• Drive CRO initiatives across landing pages, trials, pricing, and onboarding
• Build and optimize lifecycle & marketing automation
• Shape product positioning and messaging aligned to sales motion
• Manage a small internal team, contractors and external agencies
• Partner closely with Sales, Dev and the CEO on pipeline quality and revenue attribution
What We're Looking For
This is a senior, Director-level role with direct ownership of demand generation and revenue pipeline.
• 5-8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally in technical / DevOps / infrastructure products
• SEO (technical + content)
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Marketing automation & lifecycle
• Product marketing fundamentals
• Proven ownership of trials, CAC, conversion rates, and pipeline
• Comfortable speaking sales and revenue language
• Experience managing remote people and agencies
• Data-driven, execution-focused, and accountable
• Ready to step into a Director-level role with real ownership
