Plymouth Rock Assurance is a member of The Plymouth Rock Group of Companies, which manages over $2 billion in personal and commercial auto insurance. They are seeking an auto claims representative to investigate, evaluate, and resolve personal auto property damage claims while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other parties related to an auto accident
- Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including phone, text, email etc
- Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability, and damages
- Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements
- Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses
- Ensure adherence to personal lines policies including related coverages and exclusions
- Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence
- Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems
Skills
- 0-2 years of auto claims handling experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email and other written correspondence
- Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting and customer focus
- Experience using a claims management and imaging system
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience
