Key Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting Distribution Supervisors with daily operations within the department
- Running relief and vacation routes as needed
- Following all safety procedures while driving to and from Sales Center to customer locations on route
- Correctly checking store delivery inventory compared to invoiced quantity with warehouse/backroom manager
- Correctly checking truck inventory compared to load-out report and return inventory compared to load-in report
- Performing other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a CDL Driver Lead, you will need:
- A valid Class A CDL License
- A driving record that meets Swire's vehicle policy requirements
- The ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as directed by the business
- The ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience as a CDL driver or in a related field
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
