• As a Capital Markets Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and driving our Capital Markets processes, directly contributing to the company's expansion in product offerings and the growth of our lending base. This role demands a proactive approach to managing complex financial operations and reporting.
• Key responsibilities include the meticulous preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing changes to the borrowing base or asset sale base, crucial for our warehouse line purchasers. This involves in-depth analysis and clear communication of variances and trends.
• You will be responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly estimation, analysis, and reconciliation of funds flow and funds matching, including managing draws from various bank accounts. Close collaboration with the Head of Finance will be essential to ensure the appropriate and timely movement of funds.
• Furthermore, you will prepare daily, weekly, and monthly applications and reconciliations of payment waterfalls, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of funds to multiple investors and stakeholders. This requires a strong understanding of financial structures and payment mechanisms.
• The role also entails the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and follow-ups on covenants embedded within Flow purchase warehouse line agreements. Diligence in monitoring and reporting on these covenants is critical for maintaining strong relationships with our capital partners.
• A significant aspect of the role involves troubleshooting data discrepancies, whether they arise internally or in conjunction with external counterparts. You will act as a key point of contact for resolving these issues efficiently and accurately.
• You will serve as the primary steward for data reporting quality and reliability across all facets of our engagement with fixed-income capital market stakeholders. This includes establishing and maintaining high standards for data integrity and presentation.
• Support the accounting footprint related to capital market activities, ensuring seamless integration between financial reporting and capital markets operations. This may involve assisting with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation related to these activities.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering teams to develop and implement automated reporting solutions specifically tailored to the needs of the capital markets function. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve the timeliness and accuracy of reporting.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in US consumer financial services companies, specifically in performance analysis and reporting.
• Prior Capital Markets experience, providing analysis and reports to Capital Partners, is highly preferred. Securitization analytics experience is a significant plus.
• CFA charterholders or candidates demonstrating exceptional analytical prowess will be considered for elevated compensation.
• Demonstrated willingness to grow beyond traditional financial analyst roles, take ownership of products and processes, and learn new business functions rapidly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
