This entry-level role involves overseeing financials, resource planning, and performance measurements while ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. Responsibilities Provide analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements Participate in indirect rate planning Support the development and implementation of financial management plans Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of financial deliverables to corporate entities Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis to understand business performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives Support month-end and year-end closing processes Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field 0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections Ability to leverage advancing financial tech to continuously improve modeling, forecasting, and financial insights Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) with 150% match up to 6% Life insurance 3 weeks paid time off Tuition reimbursement Company Overview Sierra Nevada Corporation is an aerospace and defense contractor.
