Job Overview Komatsu is currently recruiting for a Welder to work at our Virginia, MN location. This position is represented by a union. What we offer: • Hourly Wages $27.30- $35.90 • Sign-on Incentive - $2,000.00 • Night Shift Differential - $4.00 per hour will be added to base wage rate for each hours worked. • Comprehensive benefits package • Employee discounts to Ford, GMC, Disney, AT&T, Verizon and more • Boot, tool and pants reimbursement • Paid vacation • Excellent job security • Ability to be a part of an exciting, innovative company developing new state-of-the-art technology and equipment Responsibilities • Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging • Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch • Understand Weld Symbols • Certified Rigging • Proficient at Print Reading • Proficient at Fitting/Layout • Must have experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes. Qualifications • Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis. • Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing). • Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality. • Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes. • Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines. • Work in a diverse team environment. • Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments. • Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required.
